May seem difficult to install but once you know how to securely install it, rest assured that it will effectively lock your door. I've used this whenever I travel for work and it provides peace of mind knowing that I have additional security for when I'm in the room. I've included a video showing the installation, testing the durability as well as removing the lock.

Something I never knew I needed, but I'm so happy I do now. Simple to install. Figuring out how the lock expands took a few pulls, but I eventually got it. The size fit good, but I was not able to place the flat piece fully in the door crevice, it had to slide back a bit in order for the door to close. Recommend testing with just one nail before drilling all 4. It seems like it will be very sturdy and durable, so I look forward to the extra step of being safe and secure.

It does the job of stopping anything front door. Nice and super strong security bar it's worth the money.

Bought a few months ago to keep my toddler from opening front door(since he figured out how to unlock the handle and deadbolt) . Works well and is easy to set up and use

Tonight is my first time using it but from what I can see the bar looks to be pretty secure and I like that I’m able to adjust the bar to my door specifications no matter how hard I pulled the door did not open. We’ll see how it does but so far I would recommend

This is an awesome lock to secure a door from the inside. Easy to install & uninstall daily. Even if you unlock the bolt lock at the top the bottoms where you would install this will still be secure & unable to open. It’s great !

Excellent door lock for children and elderly. I put the lock on the top of my door and it works great. I was afraid it would accidentally lock if the door was slammed so I installed it on an angle on the door frame. Now the lock works perfectly. Would recommend and purchase again.

My son is autistic, non-verval, and elopes from safe spaces. I have spent years not being able to travel with him because he's outgrown baby locks that might be handy and not damaging for use in a hotel but I can't go to sleep because he's likely to just leave by himself while I'm sleeping. Special needs parents know that that's the nightmare that really keeps us up at night. Suddenly I had an idea that maybe I can use this lock on a hotel door as instructed but add a small zip tie between the smallest hole in the silver plate and the handle of the red wedge. This weekend we went on a family trip and stayed in a hotel. I brought a little kit with this lock, a few small zip ties, and scissors to snip the zip tie to remove. It worked like a charm. I set it up the way I described and tried my best to open the door from the inside like he might. I couldn't do it. I actually slept and my son slept and had a great time. Seeing him be safe and still included in what everyone else is doing made me want to cry. It just really meant a lot to me. If you have eloper in your life, you should have one of these around for travel/and or emergencies like staying with a relative unexpectedly during a home emergency. It's a pretty affordable peace of mind.
