This product works. It works in most doors and gave us an added level of security while traveling. If it’s not snug- it’s not on correctly. Follow the directions. The triangle should be pointed down and it should be snug against the door. The pin on the back will slide into place to hold it against the door. The only difficult part was getting it to fit into the strike plate. Otherwise, it’s a great product. Once it’s installed, you can pull with your body weight and the door will not budge. My husband is 250# and it would not open.

I put them on my door every night. Easy to assemble. It's easily adjustable and holds the door with a tight grip.

Place the protruding prongs into the door frame, not the door itself, where the bolts push into. And it works very well.
